Can you believe after that "Big End of August Newsletter" that we have more great new stuff for this month???.....and some of it just came today!!!!!
Many of you have been waiting and waiting for new things to come in from Blanque. Well, the wait is over, and this stuff is so great that it will be out of here in a flash.....and the wait will start again!!! We have two separate groups. The first is white textured cotton in both the regular and the cropped Francis Shirt, the twist being that this time the shirts have different styles and sizes of stone buttons. That little bit of sparkle really looks great on the stark white. To go with these shirts, we have a new textured black fabric that is more charcoal than black in our Marbella Pant. The other collection is our basic black crepe in some new styles. We love the clean and simple lines of the V-neck tunic.....and anything with a V neck is difficult to find! All of the tops in this fabric are winners, as are our favorite pants. The Sander Coat did not arrive with the rest of the collection, but we have been promised that it is coming soon. If you think you will love it, reserve it NOW!!!!
Many of you already know about the Krista Larson collection arriving in new colors....portobello and loden. That is because some of you receive our weekly Krista Larson newsletters....and the rest of you may sign up if you wish. We have put together three different outfits to showcase some of the new styles that we love. The Peony Shirt is a wonderful jacket alternative as well as a pretty fitted shirt with its adjustable back, shown here over a soutache Short Wavey Slip and the new Bakery Slip with the rather fantabulous detail work at the bottom. The new Buton Jacket is a real wonder.....can you just imagine making all different sizes of button holes in all sorts of different places to make all of the buttons work??? Yikes!! We are showing it here with a Picket Fence Cami and the new Origami pant with the raw edge reverse seams. I have one of these new pants and seem to be living in it!!! Our last outfit shows off some of our favorite classics.....the Smashed Cami over the Double Layer Net Tee over the Ragtime Cami over the Underpinning Skirt.....As always, the beauty of Krista's clothes is that you can wear them in lots and lots of layers, or you can put your one favorite piece with everything else you have!!!
We are introducing Elm, a new collection from Iceland . We were attracted to the quirky details and interesting fabrics.....and, of course, the fact that everything is black made it easy. We like the contemporary look of the Bella Accessories necklace with the wide, sexy neckline of this dress!!!
Our friend Marsha is becoming more prolific, which we are happy to see because we sell her one-of-a-kind vests so quickly. AND...we have several different sizes in stock right now. The vests are constantly evolving with more and more detail work and more whimsy......
Something new and different from Ray Harris are his very pleated white cotton blouses.......
Something new from ItemZ too....these wild and wooly toppers and coats will keep you a little warm despite the holes!!! Italians do make some of the most wonderful fabrics.....We also have a scarf in this fabric that is great looking with any black jacket or coat. Before you ask....just as linen will wrinkle, wool can itch if you are sensitive, but then you won't exactly be wearing it next to your skin.......
We are incredibly excited to have Diana Frey's one-of-a-kind jewelry collection, which we found when looking at Robin Kaplan's clothing collection, which we will be introducing next month. We can't believe how everything just fell into place!!! Diana was gracious enough to come up to meet us, and she brought us a lovely collection of her things early....as some of you know who are already enjoying wearing them!!! Each piece is a one and only, so if you love it, DON'T DAWDLE. Once a piece is gone, it's gone!!! We will be getting new pieces each month....and, let me tell you, those boxes with her return address on them get opened faster than anything because Siga and I can't wait to see what's new.....
We hope you are enjoying what's left of the summer and are getting ready for the cozy months ahead. We are. And then we are going off to New York to start buying, would you believe, SPRING!???
