Wow!!!! It's Spring...I can't believe how fast we zipped through winter (I guess it is different for those of you who actually HAVE winter) this year....
....and now all of the new Spring goodies just keep rolling in.....on the Big Brown Truck.....
First of all, though, we have a big do-over...........
The last newsletter had these FABULOUS polka-dot sundresses, of which we only had six. Well, about twenty of you wanted them. Since we do like to keep all of you happy, we have worked very hard with Barbara deJounge to get more, and she has been able to locate more of the same fabric!!!!! The result is that could all of you who wanted them please call me again to let me know which color you would like??? BLUE is now available. (We only had one the first time!) Now you can have the color you want instead of the ones I had left....AND, we have Barbara's almost famous "pin" sweater in stock in black and red and purple, and we will have the multi-colored one with the pin-on pocket again soon!!!!!!!
I know that a lot of you have been anxiously awaiting the reappearance of Kedem Sasson in our store. Well, the collection is here now. I am already wearing a pair of his pants while I am writing this!!!!! As usual, the collection is whimsical and dramatic. We have coats and jackets and vests and tops and pants and skirts in various degrees of silliness. We love the stripes, so most of the linen is striped......black on a soft gray, white on black, and natural/black skinny stripes. The styles come with Sassy's wonderful pockets that range from big drawstrings to things that look like paper bags. His coats can be worn as dresses. His jackets also make great tops. His vests are short and wide with amusing collars. Since everything is one size, we have a nice selection, but there are only pieces of each style. These are a MUST to come in and play with!!!!!!!
Whimsy meets drama in the Jutta Nordheim collection from Germany. Remember the amazing see-through silver jacket....the even more amazing cut-out/see-through silver skirt????? Well, here comes more!!!!!!! The most striking piece in the collection this time is a one and only....the pleated "sculpture" dress. I have tried it on....maybe not my best look in this size....but WOW!!!!!!! This dress is BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!!!!! This could be "Red Carpet" material. The other pieces in the collection are definitely on the more playful, versatile, daytime side. The two layered outfits consist of a short dress with a separate overpiece.....how much fun could we have with that???? I've already done that too. This is one collection that Siga always wants me to try on right away....and I do not complain......Those of you who already have Jutta Nordheim pieces have told me how much you....and a lot of other people.... love them!!!!!!
We have a new jacket and a new shirt from ItemZ in a richly textured fabric that comes in springy shades of citrus and orange. The jacket is a very flattering style with its high convertible collar and longer length. The other style is the panel shirt with the geometric stair-step sides and the divided pocket in the back. Our selection of brightly colored linen shirts from ItemZ is pretty wonderful too......
Before taking off on an extended trip to play with her grandchildren, Remy has made us a new color in the sheer convertible vest/jacket as well as some one-of-a-kind pieces...........
There are lots and lots of accessories to play with that can complete any outfit....

Cavallini Papers always tempts us with something new in paper.....this time a tin of different patterns and shapes of sticky notes in various themes. We also have a full selection of their notebooks and journals and file folders......
Continuing my passionate pursuit of paper.....we go to Italy to find the most elegant printed papers....tablets and note paper...photo albums and address books....folders and tubes of colored pencils......and the WRAPPING PAPER!!!! (Actually, we didn't go to Italy, but we are in love!!!!!)
We try to fill our gallery with all things we find wonderful.....and we do find a lot of things to be wonderful. And right now, we are trying to find the best of the best of affordable little gifts...and we have them in abundance. It was more fun looking for and finding them......
Siga and I are looking forward to seeing and playing with you and hearing about what is happening in your world. Ours just keeps whirling out of control as things keep coming and going......
