The rolling racks are back.....the rolling racks are back!!!!!

I am not particularly proud of the fact that my spatial relations are so terrible that we never have enough room on our selling floor.....BUT, it's back to the old "If it's great, we want to have it!"

.....and this is GREAT!!! For years you saw me yapping on about how the ONLY color for the Blanque matte crepe was black.....well.....you have seen that chocolate and taupe and red and eggplant have been pretty wonderful colors too, and I have pretty much had to eat my words. I am happily doing that for our newest color.....PERIDOT!!! You all know that if this shade of green is available anytime, we will have it because it works so well on just about everybody.....even those people who insist that they can't wear it.....and because we love it!!! Our new matte crepe group is available in this delicious color and in the always perfect black. Most of the tops are available in peridot and in black, but I was only gutsy enough to buy my personal favorite pant, the bell pant, in green! If you want peridot pants, call or come in yesterday!!!!! You will notice that there are a lot of new styles.....some of the tops more pared down than others for those of you who would like a little smaller fit, and a variety of pants to please everyone (except those of you who really like long pants!).

In addition to the matte crepe, for the first time, we are trying Blanque's fall cotton novelties.....mostly because they are beautiful too! The color palette is shades of loden, a subtle and elegant soft grayish green. We have many fabrics.....menswear, pinstripe, brocade (don't worry—it doesn't look like that!) and a shimmer. This is the perfect way to dress going into the warm days of fall!

To make this easy for everyone, most especially Doriena and me, I am coding the styles to let you know the availability of styles by fabric.....MC for matte crepe, and C for cottons.

Well, as if all of that isn't wonderful enough, we also have a great new reversible group from Noblu!!! These cotton knits are all reversible from mocha, cinnabar or teal to black and are accented with colorful Japanese kimono silk printed cording. The versatility here is unbelievable.....unless you already wear Noblu and know that. Any top and bottom can be worn in four different ways.....all color, all black or a mix either way. Great travelers, no?

Doriena and I had a great time on Labor Day weekend! It was so dead and boring that we decided to turn our clothing area upside down and change the whole look of things. We surprised even ourselves when we just started to mix our colors and create entirely new looks. For that reason, we have included pictures of some of our new Krista Larson put-togethers. We have mixed the river rock with the blue granite and the lemon. We have made black and cream the perfect backdrop for our new pearl and crystal jewelry. We have decided that we will never know how many zillion things are possible!!!!!

We have some rather spectacular new accessories too.....

We have expanded the color selection of Giselle Shepatin's extravagant silk and velvet scarves! One of these on anything plain vanilla will be a show stopper!!!

Ruth Spencer keeps felting silk and wool and coming up with something new and fabulous.....this time it's polka dots! Nothing gets much happier than polka dots! We love it when Ruth comes over just to show us what she is working on next.....and we think she probably loves leaving with an empty bag!

Remember those beautiful metal mesh bags that Siga bought for the store to surprise me? Well, I surprised him and ordered new ones! The new bags have geometric mixed metal details that give them the versatility to match just about anything. I loved the look of these so much that I also bought some cuff bracelets with the same combinations.

.....and then there is lots and lots of other great stuff too......which is why the rolling racks are back!!!!!

We are having a great time playing with all of our toys, and with those of you who come to visit or call us.
